Catalinita

This tiny uninhabited island on the east side of the main land of the D.R. and Saona island lays and on a barrier reef between the Atlantic ocean and the Caribbean. This makes it for a unique spot for sharks and other big fishes like American Stingrays and Dolphins. The divesite is in a depth of 15 -25 meters and big fishes are in fact often seen.

Currents: often strong currents and high waves. For experienced divers only.
